Most property insurance policies in Texas contain an appraisal clause: a built-in way to settle disagreements about the AMOUNT of a loss without a lawsuit. Either side can invoke it. Your carrier can invoke it on you, and you can invoke it on your carrier. Each side names an appraiser, the appraisers pick an umpire, and when two of the three agree on a number, that number is binding.
We serve as your named appraiser when you invoke appraisal or when your carrier does. The job is an honest, defensible valuation of your loss, documented to insurance industry standards.
We accept appraisal assignments from carriers and independent adjusting firms that need experienced, credentialed appraisers on the ground in Texas.
When both appraisers agree to it, or a court appoints one, we serve as umpire and issue the deciding award.
All loss types, residential and commercial: wind and hail, water, fire, tornado, and hurricane.
Serving all of Texas from our home base in the Rio Grande Valley: Brownsville, McAllen, Harlingen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, and South Padre Island, plus Corpus Christi, Laredo, the Gulf Coast, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Statewide travel available.
The first conversation costs nothing. If appraisal is not the right fit for your situation, we will tell you.
